Glucose screening, simple and for everyone
Rima GlucoLens grew from a simple idea: checking your glucose shouldn’t require a needle, a lab, or a complicated diagnosis. A urine test, read by your phone, that gives a clear answer and explains what to do — accessible to anyone, at any age.
Our mission
We want to make glucose screening part of everyday life: non-invasive, understandable, and within everyone’s reach. Too many people discover a glucose problem too late. An early signal, easy to get at home, can make the difference — while always remaining a starting point towards the doctor, not a diagnosis.

Founder
Rima GlucoLens grew from the vision of Rima Shehadeh, who has a background in Medicine and a direct link to the University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro. It is from the meeting of clinical experience and a drive to make prevention accessible that the project came to life.
The partnership with the University Magna Graecia
Rima GlucoLens is developed together with the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro. The partnership brings together clinical expertise and research: the test and its reading are validated through a field study, to offer a reliable, evidence-based tool.
What we stand for
For everyone
A universal tool, designed for every age and for anyone who wants to keep an eye on their health — with particular attention to pregnant women.
Screening, not diagnosis
We give a clear, honest signal that guides you to the doctor. We never replace clinical judgement.
Simple and non-invasive
No needle, no waiting at a lab: a test at home and an answer you can understand.
Where we are going
We start with urine glucose screening, but our vision is broader: to build a reliable, simple prevention tool that helps people care for their health before a problem becomes serious.
Rima GlucoLens is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. A positive result indicates elevated urinary glucose: consult a doctor. In pregnancy, talk to your gynaecologist.
